Studio City is nestled in the foothills of the north slope of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is named after the studio lot that was established in the area by film producer Mack Sennett in 1927, now known as CBS Studio Center. Until then, Studio City was a large parcel of rural land. Today it is sought after Real Estate for those that enjoy boutique restaurants, shopping and unique homes.
Studio City takes up 5.8 square miles of the San Fernando Valley. Its population is small but mighty. 34,790 residents occupy the exclusive area, resulting in 6,075 people per square mile.
Well-known for it’s prime location for easy access to employment centers in Hollywood, Downtown LA, the Valley and Beverly Hills. Studio City is ideally situated for those interested in an artistic, charmed style of living, working or relaxing in Southern California.
